About us
Matti Yarns is a Portuguese brand of quality yarns. It was born in the North of Portugal, within the textile industry, by an experienced team passionate about the textile world and crafts. All projects involving yarns and needles/hooks fill our hearts.
It was precisely because of this passion that we created our yarns by combining the tradition of ancient arts, the innovation of the textile industry, and the needs of our customers.
You can use them in all types of crafts involving yarn, particularly knitting, crochet, weaving, punch needle, or embroidery. Basically, where there is creativity, there are no limits.
We offer eleven ranges of yarns in cotton, organic cotton, wool, recycled wool and microfibers, with different thicknesses and twists, available in up to 75 colours, specially developed for each type of project.
If you are an amigurumi enthusiast, we recommend Have Fun yarn due to its thickness and twist.
We created Heaven and Heaven Light yarns with knitting needles in mind. Both yarns have an unparalleled soft touch and slide very well on the needles.
Design yarn is great for knitting and crocheting garments, especially for those who like quick projects and use thicker yarns. Due to its structure, it is widely used in knitting mill projects.
If you prefer organic cotton, use our Whisper and Whisper Super Fine yarns. Both are structured yarns with very different thicknesses and textures. The first is twice the thickness of the second and has a cord-like twist. The second is our finest yarn, ideal for high-detail projects.
